I like memes

Here it’s a meme I picked up from Sade. It goes like this: Leave a comment and I’ll give you a letter; then you have to list 10 things you like starting with that letter. Post them in your journal and give out new letters to your commenters in turn. NO TAGBACKS ALLOWED, unless a commenter specifically requests to be given a letter.

Sade gave me the letter E. Lets see about ten things I like that start with the letter E!

1. Elephants
2. Earrings
3. Ebay
4. Emerald Green
5.Egyptology
6. Empire Biscuits
7. Edinburgh
8.Eight Days a Week
9.Eating
10. Ecclefechan (never been but its a great name)

Oki that was damned hard.

Yarn Pron Friday!

Yarney goodness, seeing as how it is p-hi-hiddling it down outside i had to do indoor yarn pron, still managed to get natural light so all good.

First off some yummy Lorna's Laces Shepard Sock in daffodil that i got from Sobe, who is having a bit of a destashThis is gonna be a clapotis eventually, yep there is go with the bandwagoning but i am definately behind the trend on this one, but hey, its something i have wanted to do since i started knitting so...

Next some opal, now i kinda fell foul of internet incorrect colour representation on this one, i ordered what i thot was black and pink i got this:
Yes its brown, its turning out that black opal uni i rather hard to come by, may need to call in a favour or 2. Either way i aim to make black and pink and now brown and turquoise entralac sockies with this stuff.

Thats it for this week, woulda had more but its on back order so will have to wait for another time!

Fetch me a bandwagon, tho i remain unbiased!

hehe I'm so witty!! Anyway, like it says i jumped on the fetching bandwagon, altho given that i am so far behind in this trend does it make it cool again?? oh well here they are:
Super quick to knit, 1st i did in an evening the 2nd was done in the car to and from Loch Lomond!
Pattern, yarn is Wendy Peter Pan DK shade no 1320

Next! Unbiased, again fairly quick, taken me less than a week (can you tell who is in sweater procrastination mode? Sorry Danny) I did it in 2 different kinds/shades of sari silk for a slightly different effect...
I am looking for ideas as to fastenings any inspirations?
Pattern, Yarn: sari silk
Finally Sock Yarn Pron, in lieu of the traditional Easter Egg my aunt sent me this for my Easter:
Much better than chocolate methinks, tho i did get some choccies too! Its Opal Crazy shade 1903, pretty!!
